It is recommended by most boiler manufacturers to have your boiler serviced every 12 months. Regular servicing ensures that the boiler is working safely and efficiently. You can also maximise the lifespan of your boiler while minimising the likelihood of unexpected repairs and breakdowns. Our Boiler Service Includes;

  • A visual inspection of boiler location and clearances
  • Carry out safe isolation and check fuse rating
  • Check all components
  • Check all seals for wear
  • Visually inspect heat exchanger and clean if necessary
  • Carry out burner pressure and gas rating
  • Cleaning of condense trap ( if applicable )
  • Carry out combustion and performance test inc print out
  • Clean magnetic filter ( if applicable )
  • Vent radiators and check system water pressure
  • Check other system components ( pump, cyclinder, valves, ect )

Central Heating Repairs

Efficient Gas understand how distressing it can be having no central heating or hot water especially for more vulnerable customers. This is why we offer an emergency service to get you back up and running as soon as possible.

Our team of highly qualified Gas Safe registered engineers are fully trained to work on all types of central heating systems and to address any faults, from replacing faulty central heating pumps to rectifying complicated wiring faults. Oil Boilers

At Efficient Gas we are also Oftec registered oil engineers and able to service and repair your oil boiler. All boilers are serviced to manufacturers specifications which includes a full strip down, clean and inspection of heat exchanger and baffles. Combustion and pump pressure checks and new burner nozzle installation.

We also carry oil spares on our vans which will help us to get your boiler up and running quicker.

Landlord Gas Safety Certificates

Under the law, it is the obligation of all home owners who are renting a property to obtain a gas safety certificate (cp12) every 12 months. According to gas safety regulations, the inspection of all flues, gas appliances and pipe work must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer. As a residential landlord, you are legally responsible for the safety of your tenants and for compliance with the gas safety regulations enforced by the health and safety executive.
